split Function

split produces a list by dividing a given string at all occurrences of a given separator.

split(separator, string)

Examples

> split(",", "foo,bar,baz")[  "foo",  "bar",  "baz",]> split(",", "foo")[  "foo",]> split(",", "")[  "",]
